THE WARPATH'S DYLAN GIVES TEN RECORDS THAT INSPIRED HIS AND THE BAND'S SOUND:

Madball - Hold it down
To me this is the best Madball release along with maybe "Set it off". It's one of mine and Josh's all time favourite albums and one cd I think the whole band would agree on. The song writing is killer, just classic hardcore done to perfection. The lyrics are solid, nothing new or amazing but solid and it's an album that always makes me feel good.

Blood for Blood - Spit My Last Breath
This is probably the the most bitter, hateful album of all time and thats the main reason I love it. The music mirrors the lyrics perfectly, it's slow and slow, sludgy and horribly miserable sounding in some parts and then fast and super pissed in others. It's definitely influenced the band epecially in songs like "Your Dream" both lyrically and musically.

Blood for Blood - Outlaw Anthems
This album is completely different to "Spit My Last Breath" but somehow equally as good. It's just as angry but not as miserable, more upbeat and aggresive. The lyrics are fuckin great once again and definately had a big influence on the way I write mine. There's even a song that's almost positive, "Love Song", which is probably the best brotherhood song ever written.

100 Demons - s/t
I'm pretty sure everyone in the band loves this album. Musically it's fuckin crushing and although it's alot more metal than the shit we play Ross would have been influenced in his song writing by some of the shit on this album. I love the lyrics too and they've had a big inluence on the shit I write.

Death Threat - Peace and Security
This albums more of a personal favourite than a huge musical influence. Killer hardcore the way it should be and I love the way the vocalist deals with everyday life. "I've got nothin but I still got friends, I'm fuckin broke but I still make ends" that shit always makes me feel good.

Donnybrook - Theres No Love Here For the Insincere
Same as above really, only thing that lets it down a bit is that all the lyrics deal with are scene politics but its only four songs and I think the lyrics really imporove on the follow up album "Lions in this Game".

Suicide File - ST
I love all of Suicide files shit, but especially this one because as well as the music being awesome the lyrics are fuckin amazing. Somehow they manage to be beautifully poetic and well writen and at the same time bitter, spiteful, and super pissed.

Wisdom in Chains - Die young
Ok if you haven't heard this band please check them out for your own sake. Musically they're kind of a cross between Blood for blood and Sick of it all. The lyrics are mainly about the world we live in and how it fucked and how lifes fucked, and fightin which fuckin great in my book. They've got a song called smash you face I mean shit how can you go wrong.
